The video installation XERO DUST deals with the topic of gamification of work. The themes of self-optimisation and competition are transformed into a comedic science fiction farce through rules of play.

The characters are puppets of a self-optimisation system to which even resistance to the system is inherent.

Five players meet in the dystopian playground „XERO-DUST“. The game examines the effects of evaluation systems on interpersonal relationships.
